This Ayurveda Day, students from New Karunya English School, Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, celebrated the wisdom of Ayurveda by planting medicinal plants.
Through this hands-on activity, students learned about the healing power of nature and the importance of maintaining harmony between health and the environment.
Understanding Ayurveda
Ayurveda, India’s ancient system of health and wellness, focuses on treating the root causes of illness and maintaining balance in the body, mind, and spirit. With emphasis on diet, mental well-being, and lifestyle, Ayurveda guides people towards natural and holistic wellness.
Teaching Through Nature
Students planted medicinal herbs such as Tulsi, known for immunity support; Neem, known for its antibacterial properties; Ashwagandha, known for stress relief; and Amla, known as a rich source of Vitamin C.
This experience helped students connect with nature and understand the holistic values of Ayurveda.
Inspiring Wellness in Future Generations
Through this initiative, Krishna Narayan Rudra Foundation encourages young minds to embrace Ayurveda’s approach to holistic health and develop respect for nature.
